Croeso/Welcome to our website

The Sydney Welsh Choir has around 70 members, male and female, drawn from all parts of the greater Sydney area.  Since 1978 we have been responsible for putting the Wales into NSW. Not all choir members were born in Wales; some have Welsh family links while others simply like the music and the great atmosphere. We have a busy concert schedule and have enjoyed singing in some of the great performance venues in Sydney and around the world.  Since 1990 the choir has made six trips to Wales and parts of Europe, and we tour around NSW and interstate.

Practices are held most Wednesday evenings from 7pm-9pm at the church hall of Concord Baptist Church, Carrington St, North Strathfield, just off Concord Rd near the end of the M4. We welcome visitors or potential new choristers at practice sessions.  If you would like to know more please use the contact form below or phone 02 9630 2561.
